Weekend Recap

It’s the weekend!! A rainy start to the weekend here in Atlanta, which meant that our group run was cancelled and I was able to sleep in this morning. There was a tornado watch in effect when we woke up, so instead of running, I started baking! As a result, I have a new recipe to share with you next week (there’s a sneak peak picture on Facebook, if you’re curious!).

Friday– Review: Thrive Foods Cookbook

The second in my Friday series of cookbook reviews is Thrive Foods by Brendan Brazier. This review is a little longer, but includes lots of photos of many recipes I’ve cooked from this book and my recommendation on whether this should be on your list to purchase.

Am I the only one still (basically) living in yoga Am I the only one still (basically) living in yoga clothes?

For at least part of the day, it's just easier to put on yoga pants, sports bra, and a "zoom-appropriate" top. Or a button-up layered over my workout tank. It makes it SO much easier to squeeze in a workout when I have time.

Tell me I'm not the only one who's not going back to work clothes?!

But really, keep your gaze straight ahead to keep your neck safe in bridge (or Setu Bandha Sarvangasana). It's rare that a version of this pose isn't included during cooldown in my classes.
