Sweet Wasabi Atlantic Cod Recipe

Although I only lived in New Orleans for 7 years as a child, I tend to gravitate toward spicy foods. When I was a younger, I preferred my food as spicy as possible. These days I tend to be a little more mellow, so you don’t need to be from New Orleans to enjoy this Sweet Wasabi Atlantic Cod recipe.

We try to include omega-3 rich foods, including cod, in our meal plan a few times a week. Omega fatty acids help support joint, cardiovascular, and brain health, and support healthy immune function. In a typical american diet, we eat an abundance of omega-6 rich foods that puts our omega-6/omega-3 mix out of balance. That’s one reason I recommend Omega-3 supplementation for many of my clients, in addition to incorporating more omega-3 rich foods like many fish varieties, flaxseed, walnuts, and dark leafy vegetables (just to name a few).

Now that you know a bit more about the benefits of cod, let’s get to that recipe!

One key tip to making healthy nutrition choices is to keep the foods you want to eat in your kitchen. Ask for sustainably-raised fish at your favorite grocery store, or order online at Sizzlefish (affiliate & my favorite) for perfectly portioned fillets.
