What yoga experience do I need to join the FITaspire Studio?

All classes in the studio are designed for all-levels, but basic understanding of yoga poses will be helpful. If you are brand-new to yoga, check out my Yoga Basics in a Box for a beginner level program with everything you need to confidently kickstart your yoga practice.

You don’t need any equipment, you can use what you already have around the house. But it may be nice to have yoga basics as you get going: yoga mat, blocks, strap, and blanket. 

Nope, you’ll get access to a library of classes that you can start any time you are ready. Take a class before work, on your lunch break, or even a 10 minute break in the middle of your day. You do have the option to join monthly live classes & workshops, but the recordings will be available in the library after those classes. 

In our monthly live classes and workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to get live feedback and ask questions. You will also get discounted access to Yogi Elevate, my private yoga series, if you would like more individual (1:1) attention and accountability.

You don’t need any more space than to roll out your yoga mat. I personally practice (and film) in the front entry of our townhouse – between the front door, stairway, and living room. It’s not a lot of space, but it works well!

Ideally, look for a hard surface (tile or hardwood floor works great) and maybe a wall nearby. You can read more tips for setting up your home practice in this blog post.

Yes! Yoga offers the same benefits whether you are guided in-person or online. It’s the practice itself that leads to the benefits you achieve. I personally use both online and local classes in my weekly schedule, which allows me to be more consistent and make the most progress in my practice. 

The most important part of any pose is that it feels good in your body. I find there is too much priority placed on the “right way” to do a pose in many situations, where you’ll find more success in feeling the pose and adjusting to make it work for you. 

That said, joining our monthly live class & workshop is a great way to get feedback on your practice. I often emphasize cues based on members who practice in that class & will give specific feedback (as needed). You will also get discounted access to Yogi Elevate, my private yoga series, if you would like more individual (1:1) attention and accountability.

Yes! You have full control of your membership and you can cancel anytime. Once  you cancel, you will continue to have access until the end of the billing period you paid for and then will not renew.
