I had such a marvelous Memorial Day weekend, I am not ready to head back to reality. Luckily for me, this is a short week…leading up to a TWO WEEK VACATION! On a related note, I’m accepting guest posts if you’re interested – just email me.
This past week was week 7 and it was tough! I don’t think that was all because of LiveFit, though. The GPP Fitness bootcamp left me pretty darn sore from the weekend, so I started the week at a disadvantage. That means I’m going to get even tougher, right?! 🙂
The Workouts
I am still really enjoying the workouts, although they definitely take more time this phase. I’m trying hard to do my cardio right after the strength sessions, but there’s usually a day or two each week where I split them up.
The strength portion of the workouts take around an hour each (assuming I don’t have to wait too long for any equipment), with the cardio at 30 minutes. My cardio was all elliptical this week, which has really grown on me. You can really multitask and catch up on blogs while you sweat. 🙂
The Gear
I also got my fun “surprise” shipment from Ellie this week and LOVE this month’s selections. I say surprise, because I tend to pick out my clothes and then completely forget about them until they show up in the mail.
I chose two tops this month – a NEON yellow tank with a cute strappy back (Supernova Tank) & a grey top with the same neon yellow accents (Space Cadet Top) that is perfect for layering.

The Nutrition
I admit that this week has not been my strongest week of eating every three hours & eating super clean. I had more adult beverages than the previous 6 weeks (although still less than normal for me). But I’m still feeling good overall about my nutrition & my meals are planned for this week to get back on track.
I’m not planning on paying much attention AT ALL to my nutrition while we’re on vacation. I AM planning to keep up my workouts as best I can, though. If I’m able to do the workouts fairly well on vacation, I’ll finish out LiveFit Trainer on schedule two weeks later. If not, I’ll repeat those two week.
Either way, my current plan is to repeat phase 2 & 3 when I finish this round. I’m having too much and I have plenty of muscle to gain & leaning out to do.
