Last week I started the final group of workouts of the LiveFit Trainer! Things have shifted now to circuit style – with 5-7 exercises in a row without a break. I LOVE IT!!
I think the endurance athlete in me is loving this set – breathing hard, pushing through without a break, and then starting all over again after a 3 minute rest. Unlike endurance workouts, these are also the quickest workouts since Phase I – each one has been taking me only 30-45 minutes!
Another change for this final group of workouts is that we only do 5 days of strength and 1 day of cardio! For cardio this week, I decided my first 14er hike would fill that role. I think 2 hours and 40 minutes of huffing and puffing up the mountain was more than sufficient for the prescribed 1 hour session. More to come on that in tomorrow’s post!
Only one more week to go on the program – woohoo!! I can’t wait to do a full recap next week. I’ll go ahead and admit now that although my workouts have been great, I haven’t been quite as good with the nutrition since my Australia vacation starting in June.
