Do you make wish lists for birthdays and holidays? In our family, it’s a BIG deal and the lists got progressively more elaborate throughout the years. It started out as paper list when we were kids – I’m pretty sure these started as Santa lists. It may have also been to prevent presents like the Barbie Doll I got as an early teenager from a grandparent.
When I was in college, I used to create lists on word documents with pictures, links buy online, size, color, price. It took a lot of time, but I always got things that I liked!
These days, I’m finding I build wish lists throughout the year on Pinterest. One list I started recently as a FitFluential Ambassador is #FFTech Products I want! It’s a list of more techy products that I think would make my life just a little easier.
From the big ticket items like a treadmill… (which would be great for our new basement and the snowy/icy days where staying indoors sounds good):

…and “rocking” Kinetic Bike Trainers which would be perfect for training rides for Ironman Cairns 2013.

To more moderate items like Yurbuds, which I hear might actually stay put in your ears on a long run…

…and fitness blogger favorites (that I still haven’t tried) like Fitbit…
The great thing about online wish lists like this that I add to all year long, is when I start thinking about my birthday next month, making that list sounds much easier!
I think making lists can be almost as fun as getting things….okay, maybe not. 😉
