This week’s focus is Core and I’m excited (and nervous) to announce that you’ll be able to see me demonstrate the TRX Side Plank in this week’s workout! I am a HUGE advocate for the TRX – since it removes all my excuses for not strength training. It’s portable (we took it to China), it sets up in about 5 seconds, and you can do it in your PJs when you wake up in the morning. Strength training was a key way I stayed injury-free for Ironman training – I think it’s a critical component of any training program (running, triathlon, etc).
