This post is so long overdue, so I’m excited to finally be sharing it with you today! It’s actually very appropriate as we head into the weekend and the adventures you may have planned. Will you be Living Topside this weekend?
Living Topside was founded in early 2011 and is a place for adventure, sports and travel enthusiasts to share their lifestyle. It’s a social network that allows you to build your own electronic passport to track your adventures across the globe. You can upload pictures, pin point spots on the map where they’ve been, and where you hope to go one day.
I created my profile and added our trip to Utah so far. I have so many more I can upload here and I love the idea of pushpins on the map showing my adventures! You’ll find the design of the site clean and appealing (which is not surprising since one of the co-owners is the genius behind my logo design).
Like most social networks, you can meet friends & ask questions to other “Topsiders” (as they call them) – a great way to get ideas and opinions on locations others have been before. You can also follow their “Friend Feed” to see what other Topsiders are doing.
I know we all have a million different social channels, but I thought this idea was pretty cool and that it might help other “travel buffs” chart their adventures around the world. I think I’m going to slowly add some of the cool locations I’ve visited, more for myself than anything else I’m a visual person and love the idea of seeing where I’ve been on the map. 🙂
Interested in learning more about Living Topside? Check out their About page for more information. You can also find them on Facebook, where you’ll see many Topsiders uploading photos of their adventures with Topside swag. I think I need to get myself a coozie!
