Did you know that I have only created one recipe with apples? Another classic Fall flavor that I should enjoy more. The problem? I don’t actually like apples.
That’s not exactly true. I like apple cider, apple juice, apple sauce, and baked apples. But I don’t like raw apples at all. They look fun, but I don’t like the flavor or the texture of a fresh apple. They look so fun and portable, but I just can’t do it!

Luckily, there are a lot of ways to enjoy apples that don’t involve fresh apples. In this month’s Foodie slideshow, I had the chance to explore lots of apple recipes & I’m rounding up the ones that looked the most exciting to me. Plus that one apple recipe that I created last year.
Featured in this month’s photo collage:
- Peanut Butter Apple Dip (from Something Swanky)
- Baked Apple Chips (from A Spicy Perspective)
- Peanut Butter and Apple Oat Balls (from Peanut Butter and Peppers)
- CranApple Sage Israeli Couscous
In case you can’t see the slideshow above, you can also browse the recipes here. I bet you’ll see at least one new way to enjoy this Fall fruit. At a minimum, I bet it will bring on an apple craving. Enjoy!
