Another year has come and gone, but what a great year it has been. I know I’m getting older, because I have the feeling that time is speeding up and each year really does seem to go faster than the last.
This year’s adventures were pretty active, living out my #MoveHappy motto. Getting outside is my favorite way to spend the weekend and many of our vacations. Let’s look back at some of the best outdoor adventures from 2014.
Hiking around Colorado, including the Maroon Bells near Aspen:
Snowshoe hike to a backcountry hut:
Snowboarding in Colorado & Utah:
A two-week wine & cycling trip to France:
New Year, New Opportunities
With the close of one year, comes the excitement and expectation of a fresh year. Although you can make a fresh start at any time, a new year is always a particularly good opportunity. And this year will be especially new & exciting, as I will be moving to a new company and new position on January 12!
I’ve had two and a half great years at my current company – the opportunity that brought us to Colorado – but it’s time to close that chapter and move on to the next. My new office is only a few miles down the road, so we won’t be moving anywhere. How could I leave the beauty of Colorado?!
Of course, there will be plenty of other adventures outside of work in the new year, as well. I’ll be sharing my goals with you later this week, and adventure planning is still in progress. Let’s make 2015 the best year yet!!
